Points of Convergence – A meeting of mathematics teachers at all levels
Mark your calendars! On May 10, 2025, math enthusiasts at all teaching levels—elementary schools to university—will gather at UQAM’s President-Kennedy Pavilion, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for a new edition of “Les points de convergence”.
Les points de convergence is a one-day event designed to bring together those who teach mathematics at all levels, from primary school to university. It’s an opportunity to encourage greater communication between mathematicians, didacticians and mathematics teachers. It’s a first step towards creating synergy within the mathematics teaching community, particularly to stimulate students’ interest in our discipline.
Our aim is to make this day an annual event that will attract mathematicians, mathematics educators and mathematics pedagogical consultants.
